According to a recently unsealed indictment, Kelly Robinett, DO, and Angel Claudio, MD, falsely certified Medicare beneficiaries for home healthcare when the patients were not under their care and did not qualify for the services, according to the DOJ.
Drs. Robinett and Claudio along with their co-conspirators allegedly billed Medicare approximately $13.4 million based on false home health certifications and fraudulent claims for home health services. The alleged scheme took place between January 2007 and September 2015.
Dr. Robinett is the owner of Boomer Housecalls in Frisco, Texas, and Dr. Claudio is an employee of Dallas-based Texas Medical Housecalls.
