Washington County Hospital announces layoffs

Washington County Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital in Plymouth, N.C., plans to lay off 25 employees this month, according to a WITN report.

The hospital has about 104 employees, according to the report.

According to the American Hospital Directory, Washington County Hospital posted a net loss of $1.9 million in its last financial year.
