The change, affecting functions such as billing, will move jobs to a location outside of the Chicago area to a “remote location shared with other hospitals” said Barbara Martin, Vista Health president and CEO, in the report. The location is shared by Vista Health’s parent company, Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.

Some of the 33 employees at Vista Medical Center West in Waukegan who could be affected by the change could be moved to open positions within the system, according to the report.
