“There will be no slash and burn tactics at our hospital,” Mr. Keith said, according to the report. “There will be no layoffs.” He does plan to cut labor and supply costs by $4 million through restructuring the organization, however.
The hospital’s losses are an expected result of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and the federal sequester.
