Lourdes Health System to Lay Off 23

Camden, N.J.-based Lourdes Health System is laying off 23 employees at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden and its corporate headquarters, according to a Burlington County Times report.

Most of the affected employees were administrative, according to the report.

Along with the workforce reduction, the system is cutting costs by redesignating Our Lady of Lourdes’ intensive nursery unit from level 3 to level 2.

Lourdes Health System is part of Livonia, Mich.-based CHE Trinity Health.
