Fayette County Memorial to Institute Layoffs

Fayette County Memorial Hospital in Washington Court House, Ohio, is laying off eight employees, according to a Fayette Advocate report.

The hospital has experienced reimbursement reductions and an increase in uncompensated care, which led to the layoffs, according to the report.

The layoffs will not affect patient care, and affected employees will receive severance packages and outplacement assistance.
