The lab is one of the few nationwide that are physician-owned, the report said. It will serve all of Summit Health’s CityMD urgent care centers, primary care and multispecialty offices.
The lab has high throughput testing capabilities usually only found at large reference labs, the report said. It includes a core lab as well as microbiology, molecular and anatomic pathology departments.
It will operate 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, the report said.
