Premiere Medical Laboratory Services in Greenville, S.C., earned accreditation by the College of American Pathologists.
CAP accreditation certifies that a lab meets standards set by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, the FDA and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. CLIA certification is required beforehand for the College of American Pathologists to award accreditation.
The lab said April 13 that it offers more than 2,000 clinical tests and recently hit 100,000 tests processed per day.
