Using the partnership’s website, consumers can purchase from a pool of more than 50 different tests, including digestive health, allergy, heart health, women’s health and infectious diseases, Quest Diagnostics said Jan. 31.
Quest said results are typically available within days and can be accessed through MyQuest, the company’s patient portal. From there, consumers can choose to share results with their doctor, family or friends.
Quest said the service also allows consumers to consult with healthcare professionals to explain test results or prescribe treatments, where appropriate.
