Quest Diagnostics names 5 new executives, 1 new executive role

Quest Diagnostics appointed five executives, with one filling a new role for the company.

Quest said April 20 that the process to find a successor to retiring executive vice president and CFO Mark Guinan is underway.

The new executive appointments:

1. Richard Adams has joined Quest as vice president and general manager of consumer initiated testing, a new role.

2. Catherine Doherty has been appointed senior vice president of regional businesses. Ms. Doherty has three decades of leadership at the company.

3. Carrie Eglinton Manner has been appointed senior vice president of advanced and general diagnostics clinical solutions. Before joining Quest, she had more than two decades of leadership experience in healthcare and medical technology at GE Healthcare.

4. Patrick Plewman, who previously led Quest's West region and has been with Quest for more than nine years, was named to the new role of senior vice president of diagnostic services. Prior to joining Quest he held leadership, business development and strategy roles in molecular diagnostics at SmithKline Beecham and DiaDexus.

5. Mark Delaney has joined Quest as senior vice president and chief commercial officer responsible for all sales operations. Prior to joining Quest Diagnostics in March 2022, Mr. Delaney was vice president for sales and marketing at medical technology company Hillrom for more than four years, and became vice president and general manager at Baxter after it acquired Hillrom. Mr. Delaney has also held senior sales and marketing leadership roles at GE Healthcare.
