Quest Diagnostics completes acquisition of Ohio health system’s laboratory service business unit

Quest Diagnostics, a diagnostic information services provider, completed the acquisition of LabCare Plus, the laboratory services business unit of Akron, Ohio-based Summa Health.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed in the Nov. 28 Quest Diagnostics news release.

The company’s laboratories in Twinsburg, Ohio, and Pittsburgh will provide testing services for patients and clinicians who previously used LabCare Plus.
