Planned $400M life sciences lab would be Philadelphia’s largest

A 500,000-square-foot life sciences lab is coming to Philadelphia-based Drexel University’s campus, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported March 15.

Gattuso Development Partners, the firm handling construction, said it would be the city’s largest life sciences research and lab building. It is projected to cost $400 million.

Construction is expected to begin later in 2022, the report said. Completion is slated for 2024.
