Next Gen Diagnostics adds leadership to its scientific advisory board

Next Gen Diagnostics made an expansion to its scientific advisory board by adding Daniel Rhoads, MD.

As a member of the board, Dr. Rhoads will advise Next Gen Diagnostics on practical ways to implement pathogen sequencing for use in patient care as well as clinical validation, according to a Sept. 28 news release. 

Dr. Rhoads is the medical director of the Cleveland Clinic microbiology laboratory, where he leads the clinic’s bacteriology operations.
