Labcorp buys digital health platform focused on pregnancy, family planning

Labcorp announced on Aug. 12 that it has acquired Ovia Health, a popular digital pregnancy and parenting platform based in Boston. Neither company disclosed details of the deal.

Ovia’s platform is used globally and is included in over 2,000 health plans. The company offers apps that monitor pregnancy progress, predict ovulation based on users’ menstrual cycles, and track newborns’ health and developmental milestones. Ovia claims about $20 million in annual revenue.

Labcorp, one of the world’s largest clinical lab networks, previously invested in Ovia in August 2020.
