KeyCare snags $27M

KeyCare, a virtual care platform built with Epic, raised $27 million in its series A financing round.

The platform allows patients to schedule telehealth appointments through a health system's MyChart portal. The visit is then completed on KeyCare's platform and the data is shared with the patient's care team, according to a Jan. 5 KeyCare news release.

The funding round saw investments from investment bank Ziegler and two unnamed health systems.

"We are excited that multiple new health systems are scheduled to go live in the first quarter of 2023, while our pipeline for additional health systems and virtual care partners continues to grow," KeyCare CEO Lyle Berkowitz, MD, said.
