UCSF Health Hub announces Digital Health Award winners: Livongo, 23andMe & more

The University of California San Francisco's Health Hub, an innovation and startup studio, announced on Oct. 11 the winners of its inaugural Digital Health Awards.

The winners in each of 13 categories were chosen by a panel of experts from healthcare and venture capital, including Michael Roizen, MD, Cleveland Clinic's chief wellness officer, Michael Blum, MD, UCSF's chief digital transformation officer, and more.

The Digital Health Award winners are:

  • Application of AI: Livongo (Mountain View, Calif.)
  • Behavioral Health Company: Sana (Lafayette, Colo.)
  • Consumer Wellness & Prevention: Butterfly Network (Guilford, Conn.)
  • Digital Diagnostic — Cardiovascular: Nanowear (New York City)
  • Digital Diagnostic — Cancer: Flatiron Health (New York City)
  • EHR — Data Interoperability: Qventus (Mountain View, Calif.)
  • EHR — Patient Engagement: Luma Health (San Francisco)
  • Employer Wellness & Prevention: Sword Health (New York City)
  • FemTech: Wildflower Health (San Francisco)
  • Mental Health: Meru Health (Palo Alto, Calif.)
  • Patient Cost Savings: Grand Rounds (San Francisco)
  • Remote Care & Diagnostics: AliveCor (Mountain View, Calif.)
  • Telemedicine: Doctor on Demand (San Francisco)

Additionally, Anne Wojcicki, co-founder and CEO of 23andMe, Glen Tullman, executive chairman of Livongo, and Sean Duffy, co-founder and CEO of Omada Health, were named to the UCSF Digital Health Innovation Hall of Fame.
