UCHealth using augmented reality for interactive provider, patient experience

Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth teamed up with digital marketing agency August Allen to develop augmented reality experiences for patients, staff and visitors.

August Allen will lead the creative strategy and development for UChealth’s health and wellness augmented reality experiences, according to a July 26 press release. The aim is to use augmented reality applications to entertain, educate and relax hospital patients, staff and visitors. 

“Augmented Reality has grown into its own and has become a critical tool for brands to capture consumer attention and grow a relationship with their customers,” said Justin Hayes, creative director of August Allen.
