Northwestern creates healthcare AI hub

Evanston, Ill.-based Northwestern University has launched the Center for Collaborative AI in Healthcare through the university’s Institute for Augmented Intelligence in Medicine.

The new facility will assist clinicians in applying AI to their treatment and research. Yuan Luo, PhD, associate professor of preventive medicine and pediatrics at the McCormick School of Engineering, will lead the center, according to a Nov. 30 Northwestern news release.
