Under the partnership, Microsoft will work with Paige’s technology to develop large-scale machine learning models for oncology and pathology research, according to a Jan. 11 press release from Paige.
Paige will also use Microsoft Azure as its cloud provider for its Paige Platform and will become a Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare partner.
Microsoft will also invest in the company in order to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence in digital pathology.
