Massaschutes General psychiatrist to join AI startup

Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital psychiatrist Carl Marci, MD, will lead the mental health division of an AI startup.

OM1, a technology-enabled data and AI company, announced in a March 31 press release that Dr. Marci would head its mental health and neuroscience specialty area, which focuses on major depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and multiple sclerosis. 

"We are thrilled to add Dr. Marci to our leadership team to help accelerate the enrichment of our new data assets and help the industry realize the full potential of real-world data in mental health and the neurosciences," Rich Gliklich, MD, founder and CEO of OM1 said. "He brings a unique combination of clinical, research and business expertise to the industry."

Dr. Marci will be responsible for the speciality data network as well as the OM1 MS Registry, a database on multiple sclerosis.
