Launched in 2021, the company aims to reduce the unnecessary communications between clinicians and patients by providing contextualized lab results and action items. Tusk Venture Partners led the financing round, according to a Jan. 26 Elaborate news release.

The tool is designed to help clinicians comply with the medical record-sharing stipulations of the 21st Century Cures Act.

“What the team at Elaborate has been able to do for their clients, including my practice, is nothing short of remarkable,” Amy Esposito, MD, Elaborate medical advisory board member and medical director of New York City-based Reside Health, said in the release. “Because they’re plugged into the EHR, they use all of the information in the patient’s chart to summarize the key findings and help them schedule a billable follow-up visit if necessary. Plus they customize everything in our clinical protocols for us.”

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
