The new interface allows the KL1Plus device to connect to EnterpriseRx pharmacy management software. The new communication between the new interface and EnterpriseRx removes a manual step for clinicians and is designed to improve efficiency, according to an Aug. 26 Capsa Healthcare news release.
“Pharmacies operating EnterpriseRx but still filling prescriptions manually are at a disadvantage,” Christopher Thomsen, vice president of business development at Capsa, said. “With the KL1Plus device taking over all prescription filling and reporting back all data to EnterpriseRx, the pharmacists at that location are empowered with full data and status of every Rx, instantly. This removes ambiguity, guesswork, and hunting for missing data.”
