Each grant is valued at $50,000 and designated for use in developing novel ways to improve care delivery, outcomes and operational efficiency that can then be scaled out for use by other members of HealthTrust’s network of providers.
Centura Health will use the Innovation Grant to expand its virtual pharmacy service, which connects patients and pharmacists via live video visits. Boston Medical Center, meanwhile, will use the funds to create a network of high performing teams dedicated to reducing medical errors and post-operative complications across the organization’s operating room.
