The lab will use HintOS technology to streamline and automate certain processes that can be tedious for physicians and detract from patient experience, according to the Feb. 23 news release. The innovation lab will go through several phases, implementing Hint technology for participating physicians and evaluating their response to and satisfaction with it. The first phase has already shown an average increase in patient visit time from 15 to 45 minutes.

“If the pandemic has shown us anything, it’s that physicians are more often overwhelmed and under-supported despite the essential services they provide to the community,” Zak Holdsworth, CEO and co-founder of Hint Health, said in the release. “It’s time they have a way to get off the fee-for-service treadmill and find a better quality of practice and life.”
