Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health is seeking its first chief AI and digital transformation officer, creating a new enterprise leadership role that will report directly to the health system’s CEO.
The executive will lead Trinity’s systemwide AI vision, strategy and digital transformation agenda, with responsibility for expanding AI across clinical care, operations and workforce productivity, according to a job posting.
The role will also oversee AI governance and responsible use, including policies around data use, privacy, fairness, model explainability and compliance. The executive will chair Trinity’s AI oversight committee and help prioritize the health system’s AI portfolio based on value and return on investment.
Trinity also expects the executive to guide adoption of emerging technologies including agentic AI, build AI literacy across the organization and support workforce and workflow redesign as AI use expands.
Trinity Health operates 88 hospitals and 135 continuing care locations across 26 states and employs about 123,000 people.
