Ajax Health will use the fund to advance the growth and development of early-stage companies taking innovative approaches in the areas of medtech, healthcare services and healthcare IT to address healthcare challenges.
The new fund’s formation comes just months after Ajax Health launched its second fund, which also raised $100 million. Ajax II has already contributed to the early funding rounds of Ablacon, a Wheat Ridge, Colo.-based machine learning startup, and Cortica, a San Diego-based startup offering advanced pediatric neurological therapies.
