State-contracted caregivers in Washington will see a pay increase after the state agreed to contract negotiations, Public News Service reported.
By 2019, state-paid caregivers will see an average wage of $16 an hour. The contract includes more paid time off, a doubling of state retirement funding and a raise of 50 cents per hour for completing advanced training.
