St. Mary’s General Hospital workers ratify labor deal

An agreement between unionized healthcare workers at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, N.J., and Ontario, California-based Prime Healthcare Services is now official, according to The Record.

The three-year, newly ratified contract covers some 270 nurses and 120 technical workers at the hospital, which Prime acquired in 2014.

Under the contract, the workers represented by JNESO labor union will receive annual pay increases throughout the life of the contract, according to the report.
