Rhode Island Hospital in Providence and its unionized nurses have reached a tentative contract agreement, according to a Providence Journal report.
The tentative three-year agreement covers nurses represented by Local 5098 of the United Nurses and Allied Professionals.
David Levesque, a spokesperson for the hospital's operator, Providence-based Lifespan, confirmed to the Providence Journal an agreement was reached. However, no further agreement details were reported.
Employees are slated to vote on the tentative agreement July 12.
