The contract, which covers 120 registered nurses at Hazel Hawkins, includes a 9 percent raise over the life of the agreement, according to the California Nurses Association, which represents the workers. It also includes maintenance of pension, health and dental plan coverage, adequate meal and rest breaks and 12-hour rest periods between shifts, and creation of a nurse quality forum.
The San Benito Health Care District board will vote on the contract this month, according to the report.
