Lexington Medical Center seeks to fill various healthcare positions

Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, S.C., seeks to fill nursing, allied health and professional support services positions through a employment fair later this month.

Open positions include emergency department nurses, inpatient nurses, perioperative nurses, nurse technicians, medical assistants, patient sitters, surgical technologists, respiratory therapists, radiology transport assistants, phlebotomists and technicians, among many others, the medical center said in a news release.

"As Lexington Medical Center continues to grow to meet the healthcare needs of the Midlands community, it's important for us to expand our workforce," Brian Smith, LMC vice president of human resources, said in the release.

The employment fair is scheduled for June 24, with two sessions from 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. ET at the main campus.
