Ambulatory healthcare services showed the biggest employment growth in the industry in August, adding 11,000 jobs. Nursing and residential care facilities gained 2,800 jobs last month.
Over the year, healthcare has added 328,000 jobs, according to the BLS.
Overall, U.S. employment grew by 156,000 in August.
