The nurses, who are represented by the Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses and Allied Professionals, have been in negotiations with management for months. The union announced the deal, but said it will not provide details of the agreement until a ratification vote takes place, according to the report.

The agreement comes approximately a month after the nurses protested over wages and working conditions.
