Here are four things to know.
1. The nurses filed a petition for a union election with the National Labor Relations Board Thursday, according to the report.
2. If a union election passed, the workers would become members of the Montana Nurses Association.
3. Holly Weber, an RN in the Benefis progressive cardiovascular unit, told KRTV the workers aim “to give nurses a stronger voice in advocating for the best possible care for the members of the Great Falls community who become our patients.”
4. A union election could take place by the end of this month but not later than mid-April, the report states.
