133 new behavioral health jobs coming to Sussex County, Del.

A new psychiatric hospital in Delaware is expected to bring 133 jobs and crisis care to Sussex County in 2018, according to The News Journal.

Here are three things to know about the project.

1. The 90-bed, 93,000-square-foot psychiatric hospital and treatment center is being built in Georgetown across from Delaware Technical Community College.

2. The project will include outpatient space and inpatient beds, as well as an outdoor courtyard, indoor recreation center and expanded waiting areas for patients and their families, according to the report.

3. Officials with SUN Behavioral Health, which will run the new hospital, estimate it will be open for patients by May 2018.
