The contract, which runs from Nov. 1, 2016, to Oct. 31, 2019, maintains health benefits and offers non-clinical staff and hospital technicians a 5.5 percent raise over three years.
This means workers at five Massachusetts-based Steward Hospitals — Carney Hospital in Dorchester, St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Norwood (Mass.) Hospital and Morton Hospital in Taunton — will have a $15 per hour minimum wage by November 2018, according to the report.
Steward workers are represented by 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East.
