The Relias Onboarding adaptive learning platform aims “to meet the unique and specific training needs of nurses, from new graduates to experienced professionals entering a new practice area,” the company said via news release. Through the platform, nurses can receive personalized, American Nurses Credentialing Center-accredited education in medical/surgical, intensive care, labor and delivery and emergency room areas. Courses are offered online.

“Most onboarding education is a one-size-fits-all approach that doesn’t meet the individual needs of the nurse, can decrease engagement, and waste resources training on areas that a nurse may already be proficient in,” said Ben Johnson, chief product officer at Relias. “Relias Onboarding assesses a nurse’s proficiency and then educates a nurse only on what he/she needs to know, which saves hospitals time and resources.”
