Registered nurses at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, N.J., are considering a strike over staffing levels, as well as pay and benefits, according to a Shore News Today report.

Registered nurses at Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna, Calif., have voted to join the California Nurses Association, part of National Nurses United, according to The Times-Standard.

National Nurses United, the nation's largest organization of registered nurses, has endorsed Vermont senator and presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders, according to Politico. 

Taos, N.M.-based Holy Cross Hospital and the National Union of Hospital and Health Care Employees District 1199, a union representing healthcare workers at the hospital, reached an agreement this week on cutting hours for staff, according to The Taos News.
