The union, JNESO District Council 1, which represents about 500 nurses at the hospital, claims managers have continued to not respond to “chronic understaffing” of nurses at Pocono, according to the report.
But hospital spokesman Geoffrey Roche said in the report that Pocono officials are confident in and consistently monitor staffing levels.
Negotiations were set to continue, according to the report.
