Here are three things to know about the strike.
1. The hospital said nurses who went on strike will be locked out until 7 a.m. Jan. 11.
2. The 12-hour strike took place outside the hospital Jan. 6.
3. The strike comes amid a two-year contract dispute between the union and hospital management. According to the report, the two sides have not been able to agree on issues such as pension and retirement benefits, time off and health insurance.
