The index is on a scale of 0 to 100, and anything above 50.0 indicates a positive confidence level.
Here are three more findings from the survey, conducted from January through March 2013:
• Just over half — 52 percent — of healthcare workers believe there are fewer job opportunities available, up seven points from last quarter.
• 58 percent of healthcare workers feel confident in the future of their company, down four points from quarter four in 2012.
• Just 26 percent of healthcare workers say they are likely to look for a job in the next 12 months, a decrease of 5 points from Q4.
