Previously, the pediatric hospital had not offered a clinic because its employees are not children, according to the report. In addition to physician offices, the center has a pharmacy and fitness class space.
Children’s Mercy expects to save $15 million over the next five years through improved control over employee healthcare spend. The hospital also expects see an increase in productivity from employees because of convenient healthcare access, Fox 4 News reported.
