The partnership would be a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system seeking to protect Wyoming healthcare jobs and create a stronger network of care for state residents. It also aims to protect the two medical centers from the threat of out-of-state health systems looking to acquire Wyoming-based ones.
Even before forming the partnership, the medical centers have launched a website for it — WyomingSolution.com — to introduce the public to the plan.
“Healthcare is changing and we have a responsibility to thrive despite these changes,” reads a statement on the website. “We need a long-term solution for our healthcare system that meets the unique needs of our state.”
