Winter Haven Hospital Board Approves Definitive Agreement With BayCare

The board of trustees of Winter Haven (Fla.) Hospital have unanimously voted to approve a merger with Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System, according to a report by The Ledger.

Winter Haven officials signed a letter of intent with the non-profit BayCare system in August and expect the acquisition process to be finalized in July. Financial details were not disclosed.
