The 14 clinics are currently managed by Walgreens, but will transition ownership to VUMC in November as an extension of Vanderbilt Health System. The clinics will be rebranded Vanderbilt Health Clinic at Walgreens.

Walgreens will continue to operate and manage the clinics until the ownership transfer is complete.

The partnership builds on the institutions’ existing collaborations, which include infusion services and Walgreens’ participation in VUMC’s clinically integrated network.

Patients will be able to receive a number of services provided by Vanderbilt Health clinicians at the 14 sites, including laboratory tests and treatments for common conditions such as bronchitis, the flu, nausea and vomiting.
