Under the deal, Williamsport, Pa.-based UPMC Susquehanna will provide management services to Cole Memorial, which will be rebranded UPMC Cole following the completion of the agreement.
Officials expect to finalize the affiliation in early March 2018, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approval. The organizations initially signed a letter of intent to integrate in June.
