Memorial Health, Evans Memorial Hospital in Georgia Form Partnership

The evolving healthcare landscape has led to a new hospital partnership in Georgia, as Memorial Health in Savannah and Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton announced they are joining forces.

Memorial Health, which includes a 610-bed academic medical center, and the 49-bed Evans Memorial will partner on improving healthcare access, enhancing patient care, reducing supply expenses and recruiting physicians.

Evans Memorial will remain locally owned and operated, but Evans Memorial CEO Martha Tatum said the affiliation will allow the hospital to “benefit from the economies of scale that Memorial Health can offer,” according to a news release.
