UnitedHealthcare, Good Start Genetics ink deal

Cambridge, Mass.-based Good Start Genetics, a molecular diagnostics company, has partnered with insurance giant UnitedHealthcare to provide millions of Americans with access to Good Start’s genetic screening tests.

Through this in-network partnership effective Oct. 15, all UnitedHealthcare members will have the ability to utilize Good Start Genetics’ screening options.

Good Start Genetics offers various screening services, including GeneVu, which offers tests for inherited genetic disorders, and EmbryVu, a preimplantation genetic screening test.
