Here are four things to know about the acquisition.
1. The acquisition seeks to create a wider healthcare network for communities in El Paso County and Colorado Springs, both parties said. UCHealth currently operates an urgent care facility in Colorado Springs in addition to operating Memorial Hospital, Memorial Hospital North, and numerous primary care, emergency and specialty care facilities in El Paso County.
2. Integrity Urgent Care staff and providers will join UCHealth through the acquisition, with physicians and physician assistants joining UCHealth’s physician practice Colorado Health Medical Group.
3. With the acquisition, Integrity Urgent Care will adopt and use UCHealth’s EMR.
4. UCHealth and Integrity Urgent Care just finalized the acquisition, and patients will begin to see the benefits of this partnership later this summer, both parties said.
