Forks (Wash.) Community Hospital will also vote on a possible affiliation with Swedish on Tuesday.

The tertiary affiliation would allow OMC, Jefferson Healthcare and Forks Community Hospital to refer patients to Swedish for specialized care in exchange for help recruiting doctors, implementing IT and receiving patient referrals for follow-up care.

The agreement would also help the three hospitals implement electronic medical records.
